Effective Online Teaching Pathway

Aligning with the National Standards for Quality Online Teaching, this course includes modules on participation, navigation, communication, creation, and evaluation. Successful completion results in digital credentialing, an important component for onboarding and developing high-quality online educators. Required for Georgia Virtual School employment.

Accessibility and Accommodations in Online Teaching

Courses focus on personalized strategies for all learners, including those with special needs. Online learning is a necessary skill in the 21st century, and this course looks at best practices for differentiating instruction in the online classroom.

Data Analysis

Educators learn the importance of data analysis in teaching and learning, helping them to make informed decisions in an online classroom. The data available to online teachers and the tools used to analyze this data provides a measurable means to improve instructions for all students.

Introduction to Synchronous Learning

In this course, teachers will discover the purpose of a synchronous classroom, classify the platform's basic features and tools as well as acquire techniques for setting up successful synchronous sessions.
