Georgia Credit Recovery
The Georgia Credit Recovery (GaCR) program, a program of the Georgia Department of Education, is designed to assist students in recovering credits for courses they previously failed. The program is available to both public and private school students. GaCR offers a flexible, teacherless instructional model, allowing students up to 26 weeks to complete their courses. All courses are aligned with Georgia state standards and include both core subjects and a limited selection of electives. Course materials are provided entirely online, ensuring that students have access to the necessary resources to succeed.
Students must contact their school to determine eligibility and to complete the registration process.
